DAY 2 - Delhi
After breakfast, depart for sightseeing of New & Old Delhi by private vehicle with an English speaking guide visiting: Sightseeing of India Gate, Rajpath, Humayun Tomb, Qutab minar, Rajghat, Red Fort, Jama Masjid, Chandani Chowk. Lunch at Local restaurant .
Overnight at Hotel.
DAY 3 - Samode
After breakfast drive towards Samode. Samode once a noble state, a small fairy tale castle comes into view like a mirage , rising above cobbled streets and mud houses. It gives a feeling of real india with innocent people unaware of urban day to day life. Lunch en route at local restaurant or Hotel. Dinner & Overnight stay at Samode bagh/Samode palace.
DAY 4 - Jaipur
After breakfast, drive by the same vehicle and driver to the pink city of Jaipur It takes around 1 hour to reach Jaipur. Visit Jaipur with English speaking guide which includes City Palace, Jantar Mantar, Hawa Mahal.
JAIPUR: Jaipur is named after its founder the warrior and astronomer sovereign Sawai Jai Singh II (ruled 1688 to 1744). It is a bustling capital city and a business centre with all the trapping of modern metropolis but yet flavored strongly with an age-old charm that never fails to surprise a traveler. The old Jaipur painted in pink can grip any visitor with admiration. Stunning backdrop of ancient forts Nahargarh, Amer, Jagarh and Moti Dungri are dramatic testimonials of the bygone era and a reminder of their lingering romance.
DAY 5 - Amber Fort
After breakfast, depart for an excursion to Amber Fort by the same vehicle Visit Amber Fort with Jeep/ elephant ride .
DAY 6 - Agra
LBreakfast at the hotel.
Leave Jaipur for Agra by the same vehicle. AGRA: Agra came into limelight during the rule of Afghan King Sikandar Lodhi – who had made it the capital of his empire. Later in 1526A.D., the Mughal Emperor Babar took upon himself the task for rendering Agra, a unique character and beauty of its own The golden age of Agra’s history, thus began to set in. The next few hundred years of Agra witnessed the rise of the pomp and pageantry of three great Mughal monarchs – Emperor Akbar, Jehangir and Shah Jahan – all of whom lavished on this fabled city, their love and riches immeasurable to transform the land into one of the great centers of art, culture, learning and commerce.
En-route visit Fatehpur Sikri:- Impressive sandstone fortress of Fatehpur Sikri. The fort was built in the 16th century and only occupied for a few years before being abandoned, leaving the buildings in virtually perfect conditions. Continue drive to Agra. Upon arrival in Agra – check-in at the hotel. Thereafter, visit the Red Fort, which was built by Akbar as his citadel over the years 1563-73 in the finest architectural style Arrive Agra and check at the hotel. This afternoon you will be given the city tour of Agra visiting Taj Mahal, Agra Fort. Overnight at the hotel.
DAY 7 - Orchha
Transfer to the railway station in time to connect train for Jhansi. In Jhansi, you will be met on arrival by Vardhman Vacations India representative and transferred to Khajuraho.
En route visit Orchha. Orchha was founded in the 16th century by the Bundela Rajput chieftain, Rudra Pratap, who chose this stretch of land along the Betwa river as an ideal site for his capital. Of the succeeding rulers, the most notable was Raja Bir Singh Ju Deo who built the magnificent Jehangir Mahal, a tiered palace crowned by graceful chhatris. From here the view of soaring temple spires and cenotaphs is spectacular Orchha’s grandeur has been captured in stone, frozen in time, a rich legacy to the ages. In this medieval city, the hand of time has rested lightly and the palaces and temples built by its Bundela rulers in the 16th and 17th centuries retain much of their pristine perfection.
DAY 8 - Khajuraho
This morning you will be given the tour of Khajuraho.Today transfer to Airport to board flight to Varanasi. Varanasi, one of the ancient seats of learning in India, Picturesquely situated on the crescent shaped left bank of the holy Ganga,. Varanasi is probably one of the most ancient living cities in India. From time immemorial it has been a great religious center for Hindus and one of their most sacred places of pilgrimage, being visited by millions of people every year.On arrival in Varanasi our representative will meet & Greet you at the airport. Transfer to the hotel.
DAY 9 - Varanasi
Early morning, leave for boat ride on the Ganges to see the bathing Ghats (river bank) & cremation site. Sunrise on the riverfront, as seen from a boat, can be a spiritually uplifting sight. The life on the Ghats bound in an endless string of rituals, ever-changing aspects of the river & the wide landscape across have fascinated visitors across the world. Return to the hotel for breakfast.
City tour of Varanasi – Visit the Bharat Mata temple with a big relief map of India in Marble, Durga temple, Tulsi Manas Mandir, Benaras Hindu University which has an art gallery & the mosque of Moghul Emperor Aurangzeb.
Excursion to Sarnath – The buried Buddhist city where Buddha preached his first sermon. After attaining enlightenment at Bodh Gaya the Buddha went to Sarnath; and it was here that he preached his first discourse in the deer park to set in motion the ‘Wheel of the Dharma’. It is one of the most holy sites as in this place the stream of the Buddha’s teaching first flowed. Sarnath was a renowned school of learning from 16th century BC to 12th century AD. Visit the ruins, the stupa, the Buddhist temple & the museum (closed on Fridays). At the museum is the Ashok Pillar with its four guardian lions, used as independent Indias’ national emblem
DAY 10 - Delhi
Transfer to Airport to board your flight to Delhi. Rest of the day free for shopping.or own activities .
DAY 11 - Delhi
Breakfast at the hotel.Transfer to the airport in time to connect your onward flight.
